Laser skin resurfacing also called laser peel is used to remove damaged or wrinkled skin, layer by layer. The treatment can be used to alleviate
and to diminish small blood vessels.
After anesthesia is administered, your eyes will be protected with safety shields or goggles. The laser beam delivered will be delivered through a computer-controlled device that automatically scans the area of your skin being treated. You may hear a snapping or popping noise as the laser gently removes the outer skin cells.
Some laser treatments have no down time. Other treatments may require several days downtime depending on the depth of the peel.
